I’m way behind in watching the hockey games I’ve recorded, but whatever. I’m finishing up a game from last Saturday, which was “hockey day in Canada”, a national celebration of the game at every level.

The Kelowna Rockets pee-wee AAA girls’ team won a trip to Vancouver and got to meet the Canucks, etc., and they appeared with the broadcast team after the game on “CBC After Hours”. Scott Oake asked one of the girls how her team was doing, and she said “really great”. So he followed up with, “What’s your record?” and she answered, “I got 35 goals and about 7 assists.” He clarified, “Well that’s good, but I meant the team, what’s the team’s record?” She answered, “um… well… they’re doing really good.”

Ok, that’s comedy.
